The director of public affairs (WAEC), Demianus Ojijeogu, says the board have adjusted the examination timetable to accommodate the interests of muslim candidates.

The paper originally slated for Friday 20th April, 2018 will now hold on Tuesday 10th April, 2018 at the same time as originally slated for while the paper originally slated for Tuesday 10th April, 2018 will now hold on Friday 20th, 2018 at the same time as it was originally slated for.

The reason for the adjustment being that the Friday paper which was originally slated to start 2pm and end 5pm would affect the muslim Friday prayers which usually start 1:30pm and end 3pm.
